I started calling myself a camp mama when I was still pregnant with our first, Adeline. Running around a summer camp, managing an afterschool program, and driving a big ol’ bus each day wasn’t easy. I was taking care of 40+ kids, 5 staff, and my own little one inside my belly, and I was exhausted. Two years and two babies later…I’m still exhausted.

To a camp mama, it’s all worth it though. We believe in the power of camp to impact a child’s life in a way that no other experience can. Our kiddos get to grow up in this magical community, and we can’t help but get overwhelmed when we dream of the adventures they will have here.
Camp Mamas are everywhere. Anyone who has ever enjoyed working for a summer camp can tell you that it is a place where you can be your true self. That is what we aim for in our daily “grown up” lives…to live each day like when did when we were at camp. We want to encourage and learn from each other, play outside, and instill our love for the outdoors(and camp!) in our own kids.

Never been to camp? That doesn’t matter. Not yet a parent? We get it! Camp people are overly inclusive and accepting. Anyone can be a camp mama. However, to be in this community, we recommend you snag some chacos and a nalgene in order to earn your friendship bracelet. Welcome to the fam!
