Alicia Hawkins: Owner – Mama to 2
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Alicia grew up surrounded by water. Working with summer camps in WNC since 2005, she permanently moved to the mountains in 2012. She has over 17 years of waterfront experience including 9 years of managing waterfronts at several camps and conference centers She spent 8 of those years teaching swim lessons. After taking a break to transition to family life, Alicia is is excited to officially start teaching again in 2022.
Alicia and her husband have two daughters, Adeline and Emilia, as well as a husky named Blaze. Alicia attended Stetson University ’10 and Clemson University ’13. Despite living in NC for nearly 8 years, she still very much considers herself to be a Floridian. She loves summer camp and cake!
